30 years of experience in the industry have enabled Tiruņa to develop various systems for improving the performance of single facer machines and cutting the cost of producing corrugated boxboard.
These systems include:
IDD (Internal Dynamic Damper):
A system for absorbing vibrations in single facers at the two critical production speeds (80/ 180 m./min.).
DDS (Dry Dynamic System):
A system for removing condensation from inside the roll without a siphon tube. This eliminates the banana effect in corrugating rolls following stoppages of the corrugating unit.
Peripheral heating:
This improves the quality of the boxboard produced by reducing the temperature difference between the inside and outside of rolls.
Pyramid profile:
This was developed to reduce glue consumption in boxboard production without affecting performance in strength tests.
