So as to achieve the complete range of pieces to be manufactured, we have different machine types and formats in order to accommodate to the requirements of the piece to produce.

Horizontal lathes

We have several horizontal lathes in various size ranges both in CNC as well as conventional. Maximum capacities are:

• CNC: diameter on bench 1000 mm. Diameter on carriage: 800 mm. Length: 7000 mm. Piece weight: 17,500 Kg. on plate/chuck and 27,500 Kg. on the steady rest.
• Conventional: diameter on bench: 2,200 mm. diameter on carriage: 1,835 mm. Length: 12,360 mm. Piece weight: 30,000 Kg. on plate/chuck and 50,000 Kg. over steady rests.

Vertical Lathes

There are two CNC vertical lathes with a capacity of 3,400mm in diameter. 1,800 mm height and 20,000 Kg. piece weight. Also we have one conventional lathe where we can machine pieces of 6,600 mm in diameter, 3,100 mm height and 60,000 Kg. weight.

Boring machines

We have two CNC boring machines. The bigger one has the capacity of 13 metres horizontally and 5 metres vertically. It has two turning tables and also has automatic tool changer which can store 80 stools.

Circular grinding machines

Three circular grinding machines are available. Two are CNC which enables us to grind 600mm diameters, and a piece length of 4,000 mm. The conventional grinding machine enables us to grind diameters of up to 1,040 mm and with a maximum piece length of 8,000 mm and a weight of 10,000 Kg. between points and 22,000 Kg. with steady rests.

Gear cutting machines

We have four gear cutting machines, three of which are toothed and one with hob cutter. The maximum gear cutting size is 7,500 mm in diameter, 1,100 mm face width and up to 45mm module. We can cut spur gear, helical gears, double helical teeth (chevron) and spur internal gears. We also have a gear grinding machine with a capacity of up to 2,700 mm in diameter.

Boilers

In our boilers section we carry out all types of solutions for different kinds of materials. We have specific procedures according to the different needs and qualified welders under ASME and EEC standards. We have TIG; MIG, covered electrode and surged arc welding machines. We also have vertical furnaces for the treatment of rolls (Tempered, Normalised, Annealed, Globular) and an air furnace for heat treatment and preheating of 8,000 x 4,000 x 1,000 mm (upgradeable to 2,000 mm). We also have auxiliary machines for the welding processes (swath turners, straighteners, blowpipes).

Other

We have horizontal brushes, vertical brushes, milling machines, fixed and portable drills, etc.
